What is an Education Supervision Order?
An Education Supervision Order is a Court Order which gives the Education Authority a supervision role in respect of your education. This type of Order is made when a court is convinced that you are not being properly educated.
What is a Supervision Order?
A Supervision Order places you under the supervision of a Trust. It is issued where you are suffering or you are likely to suffer significant harm due to the care given to you. Under a Supervision Order, a supervisor is appointed to help you so that they can make sure that you are getting properly cared for.
What is an Adoption Order?
An Adoption Order, made by a Court, transfers parental responsibility to the adoptive parents. These orders are only made after extensive enquiries are made and it is considered to be in your best interests. When an Adoption Order is put in place any Care Order ends and the adoptive parents will have sole parental responsibility for you.
What is an Emergency Protection Order?
An Emergency Protection Order (EPO) is an Order made by a Court in an emergency situation if you are in immediate danger. An EPO gives the Trust Parental Responsibility for you for an initial maximum of eight days, which can be extended by the court if needed.
