Youth@CLC Are Looking for New Members for 2025

03 January 2025

The Children’s Law Centre (CLC) has opened expressions of interest for 14 – 18 year olds to join our youth advisory panel Youth@CLC.

The youth panel will be co-ordinated by Julie Graham, CLC’s new Youth Participation and Advocacy Worker. Julie has joined CLC as part of the Rights Here, Right Now – Empowering Young People to Know Their Rights project funded by The National Lottery’s Community Fund.

Launching the youth panel recruitment drive, Julie Graham said: “Youth@CLC members play a really important part in the Children’s Law Centre. They ensure the voice of young people is at the heart of our work and they champion the rights of all children and young people across Northern Ireland.”

Julie continued: “We can’t wait to get going in 2025 with a reinvigorated group to build on the previous work of Youth@CLC. One of our priorities is to ensure Youth@CLC engages with even more young people to raise awareness of children’s rights.

“If you are passionate about children’s rights and making sure young people have their voices heard then we want to hear from you.”
