About REE Chat

Our legal team is online to offer you free, confidential 1-2-1 legal information and advice on your rights.

We’re online: Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm

You will be offered the chance to use REE Live Chat when you are using REE Rights Responder, our 24/7 legal chatbot.

You can still message us by email when we’re offline and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Whether you need advice for yourself or to support a friend or relative who is also young, we’re here for everyone under 18.

If your query is more complex we can also provide you with further legal advice through our freephone advice line 0808 808 5678, or by email on ree@childrenslawcentre.org

Is it confidential?

Everything you tell our online legal team on REE Live Chat is confidential. We won’t share your information with anyone else except if we have serious concerns about your safety or someone else’s safety.

Read more about our online confidentiality procedures and situations where we might have to share information about you if and when we think this is necessary to protect you from harm. We will always discuss this with you and try to seek your consent (where possible) to share this information with others who can protect you.

REE Live Chat can help you with any legal problem, but if you are in an emergency crisis situation we will always advise you to contact Childline or call Lifeline free on 0808 808 8000.
