Who are we?
We are youth@clc - a youth advisory panel within the Children's Law Centre. We are aged 14-18 years old, come from various walks of life and we want to make sure young people’s voices are listened to and are taken seriously by the people who make decisions about our lives. We want to make Children's Rights a reality for all children and young people.
What do we do?
Our government signed up to the UNCRC in 1991, which means they made a promise to all children and young people here, that they would protect all of our rights.Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child says that all children and young people have the right to an opinion and for that opinion to be listened to and taken seriously.
