Can I bring liquid hormones with me whilst travelling?

< All Topics

If you are travelling with medical supplies such as hormones or other medications, store them together in the same bag with their original packaging if possible. You’ll need a letter from your doctor explaining what the medications are for and to act as proof that they have been prescribed to you. Liquid hormones may not need to meet the carry-on liquid limit if they are considered medically necessary.

However, if you want to carry over 100ml of liquid medication, please check with your airline before you fly. Alternatively, medication could potentially be placed in checked baggage to avoid any hassle with security. Always check before you travel.
